All Saints are the holy grail and the iconic Balfern Biker, at £318, is well worth the investment (seriously, this baby will last for years). A wardrobe staple they go with pretty much anything from simple jeans and a tee, to adding a rock chick edge to a floral midi (we’re loving this autumnal print from Next). You can’t mention leather without referencing the biker jacket. Go premium with this & Other Stories pair with subtle kick-flare (£265) or these H&M imitation leather dupes are a steal at £29.99. Remember that episode of Friends when everyone made fun of Ross for wearing leather trousers? Well it turns out he was on to something (apart from when he got stuck and had to wriggle free with talc) as they’re a sartorial must for A/W. For a more purse-friendly option try this dead ringer from Topshop with matching tortoiseshell buttons and tie waist (£49). From chic Parisian brand FRAME at Net-A-Porter, this burnt orange option is the perfect shade for the season, although super-soft camel leather doesn’t come cheap at £1,310. Warmer than a shirt but more lightweight than a jacket, the ‘shacket’ is perfect for transitioning into autumn (layer up with turtlenecks and wooly jumpers as temperatures hit the smaller digits).
